The current function map will be replaced with the selected standard TRIZ sample.
• Add Standard, Super-System and Target components from the Control Panel or by right-clicking the canvas.
• Functions are modeled as Carrier → Object. Status changes the visual treatment and does not reverse the function direction.
• Component names must be unique.
• Edit or delete components and relations from the Control Panel or by right-clicking them.
• Double-click a relation to add a bend point; drag a bend point to reshape the route; double-click a bend point to remove it.
• Drag an Action label to adjust its editable position. Smooth Curve is available for Normal, Excessive, Insufficient and Harmful relations.
• Editing a relation automatically brings the Add Function Relation area into view in the Control Panel.
• Global Search finds components and relations and highlights the selected result.
• Shift + drag on empty canvas creates a marquee selection.
• Use Zoom In, Zoom Out and Fit to View to navigate the model. TIRAZIS automatically fits the complete model after startup, project loading, CSV/JSON import, sample loading and AI model generation.
• Auto-Arrange cycles through three deterministic layout modes with Target priority.
• Locked nodes stay fixed; disconnected components are packed; parallel edges and self-loops are separated where possible.
• Enable Value Analysis and enter component costs to build the Function vs. Cost chart.
• Point Size, Label Size and the Names/Numbers switch control chart readability.
• Number mode provides a complete component legend and dashed leader lines where needed.
• The selected label mode is reflected in chart PNG and PDF report output.
• Open Task Manager to review Reduce Cost, Increase Functionality and Trimming / Elimination tasks.
• Open a task to review its TRIZ-oriented question and record ideas manually.
• Use AI Ideas to generate optimization concepts for the selected task. The AI suggestions should be reviewed before adoption. Tasks can be copied and their windows resized, maximized or scaled for readability.
• Problem Formulation identifies Harmful, Insufficient and Excessive functions and generates problem statements.
• Solve opens the contradiction workspace for defining improving and worsening parameters and reviewing inventive principles.
• AI Contradiction Analysis can review the current model and suggest TRIZ contradiction parameters.
• AI Wizard uses the system description, main function, components, relationships, super-system information and additional constraints to generate a TRIZ function model.
• Configure and save an AI provider, model, endpoint and API key before using AI features.
• AI Wizard can be opened from the main toolbar, AI Contradiction Analysis, Solve Contradiction and Cost–Function task workspaces. Closing the Wizard leaves the previous workspace open.
• Trimming removes a component while preserving surviving useful functions as orphaned functions.
• Drag an orange orphan handle onto another suitable carrier or the Target.
• The AI Carrier Replacement Advisor can suggest an existing component or target as a replacement carrier after trimming.
• Project → Save Project / Open Project manages editable project data.
• Import accepts both CSV and JSON project files.
• Export provides SVG, high-resolution PNG, CSV, JSON project data and the professional PDF report.
• Hide collapses the Control Panel; Show Panel restores it.
• Full Screen, Dark Mode and diagram scale controls are available from the interface.
• Undo/Redo are available from the toolbar and support Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y.
• AI-generated results are suggestions for analysis and should be reviewed by the engineer before being adopted as final design decisions.
• AI provider credentials are stored only in this browser on this device. AI can make mistakes, so review generated results before use.
• AI Carrier Replacement Advisor only recommends components or Targets that already exist in the current model; it does not create new components.
